Kaleidoscope Farms Christmas tree named 2016 Reserve Grand Champion

COLUMBUS, OH — A beautiful, deep green black hills spruce from Kaleidoscope Farms in Hancock County was selected as the 2016 Reserve Grand Champion Christmas Tree at the Ohio State Fair.
“We really enjoy taking a tree to the State Fair because it is a fun way to showcase the hard work that goes into growing high quality Christmas trees,” said Dave Reese, owner of Kaleidoscope Farms. “We entered one tree this year and were fortunate that it was selected. It is a real honor.”
The Reserve Champion Christmas Tree from Kaleidoscope Farms is on display throughout the Ohio State Fair in the Ag and Hort Building at the Ohio Christmas Tree Association display. Kaleidoscope Farms also had the Ohio State Fair Grand Champion Christmas Tree in 2014 with a black hills spruce and 2004 with a white pine entry. The farm had the Reserve Champion in 2012 with a Canaan fir.
The 2016 Ohio State Fair runs from July 27 to Aug. 7. For more about Kaleidoscope Farms, visit kaleidoscopefarms.com or call Reese at 419-722-1154.
